Our trip will begin at four seasons at the first residence Located in a soaring 20-storey Giza tower ,the we will go to take a cruise at myfair nile then we will go to The Mövenpick MS Prince Abbas to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lake Nasser discover magnificent temples and tombs of the ancient world on your cruise down ancient Egyptian history.

 




Day 1, Friday – Arrival to Cairo:

You will be met, greeted and assisted at Cairo International Airport by Egyliere Travel tour coordinator

followed by an escort by deluxe A/C vehicle to Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence (or similar)

where you will assisted in the check in and being reviewed with your booked holiday itinerary in Egypt.

Day 2, Saturday – Full Day Tour Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis & Sakkara:

You will be picked up from your hotel by Egyliere Travel guide, to enjoy a great excursion to The Pyramids

of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates back to the time

of Chephren and visit to the Valley Temple.

Move to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd

Dynasty for King Djoser. Then proceed to have your lunch at local restaurant. After that transfer to

Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was

considered to be a centre of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the

Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.

Meals: Lunch meal to be served at local restaurant

Day 3, Sunday – Full Day Tour Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Mosque & Bazaar:

Egyliere Travel guide will pick you up from your hotel, to enjoy a visit to the most interesting museum,

the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare

collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the

world. Over 250,000 overwhelming artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated

to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewellery which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500

years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.

Then proceed to visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside the Citadel of Salah El Din . Lunch will be

served in a local restaurant. Continue driving to the area of Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore

Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar.

Day 6, Wednesday – Edfu/Kom Ombo:

After breakfast, you will visit Horus Temple which is dedicated to the falcon-headed God Horus, and

considered the best preserved of all Egypt’s temples. The dramatic temple dates from the reign of

Cleopatra VII and was built of standstone between 237 BCE and 57 BCE. You will see the gigantic granite

statue of the falcon god in the main courtyard, and the statues of gods and pharaohs at the entrance.

Explore the inner sanctuary, and learn more about the most significant deities from Ancient Egypt.

After lunch, sail to Kom Ombo where you visit the Temple shared by two Gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom

Ombo Visit the unusual Double Temple dedicated to both the crocodile God Sobek and the God Horus.

Located on the banks of the Nile, Kom Ombo was built during the Ptolemaic dynasty, with additions during

the Roman Period. While much of the temple has been destroyed by earthquakes, the ruins are

spectacular, and some of the 300 crocodile mummies discovered in the vicinity are displayed inside the

temple.

Sailing to Aswan and Overnight.

Day 7, Thursday – Aswan:

After breakfast, you will visit the High Dam which is an engineering miracle built in 1960 to protect Egypt

from annual floods from the Nile.

Afterwards, you will visit the majestic Philae Temple which was built in honor of the Goddess Isis, the chief

deity of Philae Island.

Overnight in Aswan.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner on board the cruise.

Day 8, Friday – Aswan/Abu Simbel:

Early morning check out from Mayfair Nile Cruise. You will be transferred from the cruise in to Aswan Airport

for flight to Abu Simbel where you will be greeted, met and assisted by Egyliere Travel tour coordinator

followed by an escort to the 5 stars deluxe Movenpick Prince Abbas Nile Cruise (or similar) for 3 nights stay

on board.

Check in on the Cruise and lunch on board. After lunch, you will visit Abu Simbel and you will explore Great

Temple of Ramesses II and the Small Temple of Nefertari. Carved out of the mountainside during the reign

of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, the Abu Simbel temple complex was relocated in its entirety

in 1968 to an artificial hill above the Aswan High Dam reservoir.

Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 9, Saturday – Kasr Ibrim/Wadi El Seboua:

Sail to Kasr Ibrim in the morning and breakfast on board. You will enjoy the over view of Kasr Ibrim for 15

minutes for photos only from sundeck.

Lunch on board. You will visit Amada, Derr and Tomb of Penout.

The Temple of amada is the oldest of the monuments around Lake Nasser. Dating from the 18th dynasty of

the New Kingdom, the temple predates Ramesses II and Abu Simbel by around two hundred years;

however, as is typical of the great pharaoh of Egypt, Ramesses’s mark and that of his son Merenptah can

be found inside.

The Temple of Derr was dedicated to god Ptah and god Amon, as well as Ramsis II as a deified person.

The tomb of Penout is a rock cut tombs. It is consist of antechamber, then a niche where there are the

remains of three destroyed statues.

Overnight at Wadi El Seboua.

Day 10, Sunday – Wadi El Seboua/Aswan:

Morning visit of Wadi El Seboua Temples. The name in Arabic means “Valley of the Lions”, referring to the

avenue of sphinxes that leads up to this temple, which was built during the reign of Ramesses II. Though it

was moved to its current location only in the1960’s, it was quickly forgotten and neglected.

By the time it became a frequent tourist attraction again in the 1990’s when cruises started running on Lake

Nasser, it was partially filled with sand. The affect of its unkempt appearance and remote location is to give

visitors the feeling that they are themselves discovering this temple for the first time.

Sail to Aswan and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 11, Monday – Aswan/Final Departure:

Morning visit of Kalabsha Temple Located within view of the High Dam, Kalabsha Temple is often the first

stop for any cruise on Lake Nasser. It was moved to this spot from its originally location 30 miles to the south

after the construction of the dam.

Check out from the cruise and transfer to Aswan Airport for final departure.

Meals: Breakfast on board the cruises.
